NARS Power Matte Lipstick (650 Warm Leatherette)

It has a matte, mature finish. I recommend it because it has deep, rich color and is thin and easy to apply. It's stylish and I get excited carrying it in my purse. It's quite matte, so you might want to layer it with something moisturizing. Applying an oil-based product first may make the color less likely to set. The only downside is that it wears a little unevenly, but I'm glad I bought it.

I previously received a small one as a free gift and liked it, so I bought another color this time. It's a matte lipstick, but it's comfortable to wear and doesn't dry out! I was hesitant about matte lipsticks, but this one is fine. It does come off fairly well. I was looking for a deep brown, so I chose 101. This one has a beige feel and is easy to use. It's slim and easy to carry around, but the content is small.

I recently purchased a NARS set and got a mini size. Matte lipsticks tend to peel and show vertical wrinkles, so I usually only use glossy lipsticks. (Dior, Lancôme, etc., have all failed to work for me.) However, this matte lipstick is surprisingly non-drying, even though it's matte. I was impressed by that, along with the excellent color payoff and staying power. Both are excellent, and I think this is the only matte lipstick I'll ever buy! If it starts to dry out, I can add gloss for a glossy look, so I'm killing two birds with one stone. It's inevitable that the inside of your lips (the mucous membrane?) will become more distinct from the outside over time, but I wonder if it doesn't peel?! The shade 121 is also perfect for spring-toned yellow-based skin, and I'm feeling ecstatic!

Even though it's matte, it applies smoothly. And yet it barely comes off! It doesn't dry out over time, making it a "what is this?" kind of matte lipstick! When I saw the color on the website, I was hesitant to try it because it looked too intense, but it's so thin and light that it doesn't look like the product image unless you apply a lot of layers. The color is soft and doesn't have the sticky feeling that matte lipsticks often have. It's lighter than MAC's matte lipsticks. (Theirs have a strong color, but I'm still concerned about the drying effect...) NARS eyeshadows and blushes have an American-style color payoff that can sometimes be too intense, but this one completely blew my imagination in a good way. There's a wide variety of colors, and the price is great! Whether you like matte lipsticks or not, this is a product I recommend you try.

It came with a mini-sized lip powder. I'm a warm-toned autumn skin type and this is my second summer. It's the ultimate mucous membrane lip product. I'd recommend it to anyone who wasn't satisfied with the heat haze lipstick. However, this lipstick caused my skin to sting. It caused peeling... Sorry. I like the color, but I won't be repurchasing. I use NARS's Explicit Lipstick in 803, which doesn't seem to sting as much.
