Naturie Hatomugi Moist Gel is a Japanese multi-use moisturizing gel in a 180g jar, built around Job's tears extract. The light, non-sticky texture absorbs quickly and can be used as a serum, as a replacement for emulsion or cream, as a gel pack, or on the body. Applied after toner as part of a routine, or alone on bare skin.

How is this different from the Hatomugi Skin Conditioner?
They are two steps of the same range. The Skin Conditioner is a thin 500ml toner that delivers water to the skin. This gel is thicker and holds that water in. Used together, the toner goes on first and the gel seals it. Used alone, the gel does less than the pair but still moisturizes.
Is it enough on its own as a moisturizer?
For normal to oily skin, generally yes. It is oil-free, so on dry skin it can feel insufficient in winter, and a cream over the top makes more sense in that case. It also works well applied over the Hatomugi toner rather than alone.
Can I use it under makeup?
Yes, and being oil-free it tends to sit better under base makeup than a richer cream. Let it absorb fully, which takes a minute or two, before applying sunscreen and foundation. Applying makeup while it is still tacky is the usual cause of pilling.
Can I use it on my body?
Yes, and it is one of the intended uses. It suits anyone who dislikes the sticky feeling of body lotion in summer, and it absorbs fast enough to dress straight afterwards. The 180g jar is generous enough for face and targeted body areas, though full body use will get through it quickly.

Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

It's an all-in-one gel that can be used anywhere on the face and body, and has a non-sticky, refreshing texture that makes it easy to use, but when my skin is really dry it can sometimes feel a bit tingly. However, since it's only for the face, I think it would be fine to use on the body as well.
It's a bouncy gel that instantly moisturizes the skin when applied. I use it instead of a serum, and I think it would be nice to chill it in the refrigerator and use it in the summer. It's a large-capacity product with excellent value for money, so you can use it generously without worrying about the amount. It's easy to use on the whole body and is perfect for daily moisturizing. The only thing I can say is that the container is a little difficult to use... Other than that, I'm very satisfied with it, so I recommend it for people who want to use it generously.
