What it is
In addition to the moisturizing effects of Junmai sake and sake lees, this product contains glyceryl glucoside, a moisturizing ingredient found in trace amounts in Junmai sake. It penetrates into the stratum corneum, leaving skin smooth and moisturized.

How to use
After washing your face, pump 3-4 times onto clean hands or a cotton pad and gently massage into your entire face until your skin feels moist. Finally, press your palms together to allow the moisturizing ingredients to penetrate deep into the stratum corneum.

Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

I assumed it was a spray type, but I realized it just before I was about to use it. It was my first time using a push-type lotion, but it was quite easy to use. The alcohol smell was very slight, and as a sake lover, I would have preferred it to be stronger. Nihonmori's alcohol scent was more obvious. The feel was somewhere between refreshing and moisturizing, and it didn't linger on the skin's surface, leaving it feeling sticky, but it prepared the skin for the next moisturizer.
It has a smooth texture and a hint of alcohol. I'm not a fan of alcohol, but once I get used to it, it's fine. I tend to get dry skin easily, but I haven't had any issues with it, so I hope the rice bran ingredients will be effective!

I've used this before and bought it again. I like the feel of it. It has a slight alcoholic scent, but it's not bothersome. The liquid is smooth and feels like it's absorbed into the skin. It feels like my skin has become softer. I don't really like thick or sticky feeling products, so I love this feel. It's good to use before applying makeup in the morning. It's a shame that it's hard to find in stores.
