Ingredients
Water, glycerin, propanediol, butylene glycol, titanium dioxide, diglycerin, pentylene glycol, silica, phenoxyethanol, carbomer, sodium hydroxide, xanthan gum, polyquaternium-51, sodium hyaluronate, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, calcium chloride, citric acid, magnesium chloride, sodium metasilicate, potassium chloride, magnesium sulfate, sodium bicarbonate
How to use
[Sensation] It spreads easily and appears slightly white when first applied, but becomes almost colorless as it blends in. [How to Apply] Balance Defense UV is free of surfactants and silicones, so rubbing too hard when applying it may cause the UV-blocking coating to peel off. Spread it evenly without rubbing too hard, then gently press your hands together to blend. [Amount to Use] The recommended amount is about 10 rice grains' worth for an area the size of your palm. [Reapplication] If spending long periods in strong sunlight, reapply every 2-3 hours. Please note that the water-repellent properties are not very strong, so if you're swimming in a pool or the ocean, we recommend reapplying every time you exit the water.

The ingredients are very good, with no UV absorbers or surfactants, but it still burns (´・ω・`) Even a 10-minute commute every day seems to cause gradual tanning. It's not very reliable in the summer.
Purchased at Tokyu Hands from fall 2014 to spring 2015. According to the product description on the Nesno website, it is colorant-free, fragrance-free, and contains no additives designated for the past labeling, UV absorber-free, oil-free, surfactant-free, paraben-free, and silicone-free. Pros: Light on the skin. Moisturizing. Spreads easily, so it lasts a long time for the amount used. As a gel-type sunscreen, it feels more refreshing than cream-type sunscreens and is pleasant to use. It's easy to wash off, and I'm glad it has SPF23 and PA++. Cons: It leaves a white cast if not blended thoroughly. It's prone to uneven application. While this was expected since it doesn't contain UV absorbers, I do think it requires careful application. It requires time to blend into the skin when used as a makeup base, so it's not suitable as a time-saving cosmetic. I developed a couple of whiteheads within the first two weeks of use (they disappeared quickly), but I haven't had any problems since, so I don't think it was a bad fit for my skin. It's fine as a sunscreen to use in the fall and winter when it won't be harsh on the skin, but my honest opinion is that it's a bit difficult to use as a makeup base. I'm not sure if I'll buy it again, but overall I had a good impression.
I've been using this since I was a student until recently, but it suddenly stopped working for me, and when I removed it with my nightly cleanser, I started getting red spots; I'd been using it for a long time, so I thought it couldn't be the cause, and I continued using it a few times every few months until the spots went away, but my skin still became rough. I used it over the problem areas with concealer and powder, and it looked very natural and made my skin look beautiful, so I'm disappointed that it no longer works for me.
