I've been using Clinique lotion for many years, but I've switched to a more natural, non-artificial one. The scent is soothing, but I still find it lacking, but I continue to use it because I believe in the power of nature. It's a spray, so it's easy to apply after a bath!
I've used other Martina lotions, including Ginsena and Rose, and as they're an anti-aging line, I think they do have an astringent effect and are more moisturizing than Ginsena. I also really like how they leave a fine, velvety finish, but considering my age, I feel like Ginsena, or rather Rose, is a little more budget-friendly and would be enough to achieve a translucent complexion. It's a wonderful lotion, so I felt a little reassured that maybe it would be okay to use it even when I'm a little older.
I usually use ginsena, but I tried this to combat dryness in the winter. I was captivated by the sweet, floral scent. There's a warmth to the scent. It's a non-thick liquid with a refreshing feel, and it definitely moisturizes more than ginsena. It's comfortable, but not super moisturizing. It's also expensive in Japan. However, I like to start my skin with something simple and good like this when I've just washed my face and my skin is fresh. (Water, damask rose flower water, orange flower water, ethanol, grape fruit extract, uncaria tomentosa extract, nymphaea alba extract, fragrance)
For an anti-aging product, it's too refreshing, and doesn't feel moisturizing at all, more like water... Would it be better to use a cotton pad or something to apply the lotion as a pack?
It's moisturizing, so I use it instead of lotion. It plumps up my skin and my foundation goes on beautifully as a makeup base, so it's especially useful in the fall and winter! In the spring and summer, I use Muji's Olive Squalane as a makeup base after my lotion, so I take a break from using this.
