What it is
In salons, a process called "pre-treatment (base preparation)" is widely performed to enhance the effectiveness of treatments. Lionel Charge Control is Lionel's first original hair care item that applies this concept to home care. Just 5 minutes after shampooing and before applying your usual conditioner. The main ingredient, carrageenan derived from seaweed, approaches the surface of the hair, preparing it to better absorb the treatment ingredients used next. Because this product is based on the idea of "conditioning" the hair surface rather than "adding" repair ingredients, there is no need to change your current shampoo or conditioner. Since it is a rinse-off type, it is easy to use even for those who are concerned about the accumulation of ingredients from repeated application. It is a 5-free formula, free from mineral oil, silicone, synthetic colorants, parabens, and synthetic preservatives, and is consistently manufactured in a domestic factory that is ISO9001 certified and complies with cosmetic GMP standards. It is a unisex item that can be used by both men and women.

How to use
1. Shampoo as usual and gently squeeze out excess water with a towel. 2. Apply this product evenly to your entire hair, leave it on for 5 minutes, then rinse while gently massaging it in. 3. Use your usual conditioner or treatment. 4. Dry your hair with a hairdryer. Recommended usage frequency is 2 to 3 times a week (daily use is also possible). Note: You may feel some squeaking when rinsing, but this is a normal reaction that will resolve after using a treatment.

Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.
