HAKU is Shiseido's brightening skincare line in Japan. This night cream mask forms a rich film over your skin as the last step of your evening routine. It keeps moisture in and helps prevent dryness.
It is a quasi-drug (医薬部外品) in Japan, with 4MSK (potassium 4-methoxysalicylate) as the active ingredient. Shiseido says it suppresses melanin production to help prevent dark spots and freckles caused by the sun, and that it makes fine dryness lines less noticeable (efficacy tested). It also includes glutathione, peach leaf extract, tea extract and ectoin. It is unscented.

How to Work It Into Your Routine
1. Use it 2 to 3 times a week as the last step of your night routine. You can also use it every night.
2. Take an almond-sized amount.
