What it is
Amino acids and plant-derived surfactants gently cleanse hair with a fine, light lather. Deeply moisturizes hair all the way to the ends. [Recommended for] 1. Those who want more volume; 2. Those with thin, low-volume hair; 3. Those who can't maintain their style and find their hair flat easily; 4. Those who use unique ingredients from each region, preserving the forest, ocean, and countryside. Restore natural suppleness to your hair and scalp with healthy Kuromoji grown in the Izu Peninsula forests, shining Funori from the ocean, and supple camellia from Toshima. This vegan formula contains 20 amino acids highly compatible with hair care. We developed ingredients from the bounty of nature to promote healthy scalp and hair, enhance shine, and make it smooth and silky to the touch, and we researched a formula that is easy to use and draws out its power. 2. The carefully crafted fragrance is a blend of woody rose (rose, kuromoji, cypress, patchouli). The scent is a woody rose that expresses the rain, soil, forest, and sea of Izu with rose, kuromoji, cypress, and patchouli. The packaging continues to use biomass materials, and the heavy containers have been made to last longer than previous products.
Ingredients
How to use
1. Thoroughly wet your scalp and hair with lukewarm water (below 38°C) and pre-wash thoroughly. Pre-washing thoroughly will improve shampoo lather and reduce friction damage. Washing with hot water can accelerate color fading. 2. Lather an appropriate amount in your palm, then apply to your scalp and hair, working it into a lather. Massage with your fingertips or a spatula. For a fluffy lather, work your hands around the hair to incorporate air without rubbing. [Appropriate amount] Long hair: 2-3 pumps / Medium hair: 1-2 pumps / Short hair: 0.5-1 pump. 3. Once the lather has been distributed throughout your scalp and hair, leave it on for 3 minutes as a foam pack. The lather acts as a cushion, adhering evenly to your hair. The repairing and moisturizing ingredients penetrate deeply, leaving your hair feeling smoother after shampooing. Rinse thoroughly after 3 minutes.

I like the cypress-like scent, but the feel is neither good nor bad. My hair lacks the smoothness it feels when I run my fingers through it, and when I wake up the next morning, my hair is only normal in moisture. This shampoo and conditioner are not enough; I'll need to use a separate leave-in treatment.
I used this plant-based shampoo and conditioner, a collaboration with Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten. I didn't like the original uka scent, but Nakagawa Masashichi's has a lovely citrus scent of Yamato Tachibana. It can be used by both men and women. The shampoo lathers well. After conditioning, my hair is a little dry and brittle the next morning. It doesn't provide enough moisture for colored hair.
I subscribe to this product. It suits me perfectly, and I feel like I've finally found the one I'm looking for! It has a lovely woody fragrance with a touch of rose, creating a refreshing scent that's not too sweet. It's a blend of rose, Japanese cypress, cypress, and patchouli. I'm not a fan of overly sweet floral or artificial scents, but I love this one and feel soothed every time I shampoo. It leaves my hair smooth and light. My hair is thin and thick, and tends to flatten on top, so I don't like shampoos that leave it feeling heavy. However, after using this product, my hair feels firm and bouncy, and my roots feel soft and fluffy. There's no unnatural stickiness or roughness after conditioning, so it's stress-free. I also use Orbis Hair Milk as an after-bath treatment, and it leaves my hair soft, smooth, and manageable. It feels healthy for my scalp and hair, and it feels great to use. I think it may not be enough for those with highly damaged hair or those looking for moisture and volume reduction (I haven't tried it, but it is available for damaged hair). I have medium-length hair, and one bottle lasts me about four months. The bottle is a little pricey, but you can get a good deal with subscriptions and refills, so I feel it's not bad value for money. The bottle is simple and cute, and it's very durable as it's designed to be refilled.

I loved the original Nighty Night (the non-glamorous version) so much that I was disappointed when it was renewed. I loved the scent with sandalwood (containing sandalwood oil). After all, my pursuit of a good scent and cost-effectiveness led me back to uka. Officially, the damaged hair type is closest to Nighty Night, so I tried that one, but without the sandalwood, it was a completely different experience. I gave up on the sandalwood version and settled on this all-hair type from uka, which I currently purchase regularly from the official website. Price-wise, purchasing from the official uka website seems to be the best deal. - Experience: I can't help but compare it to the original uka shampoo, but it does feel a bit rough and dry before conditioning. I currently have natural hair, so it's not a problem, but the all-hair type may not be suitable for color-damaged hair. It still foams well, due to its low cleansing power and gentle scalp. It lathers just right after two washes. - Scent: The woody scent of Japanese cypress and Japanese cypress wafts through the hair while washing. It has a spicy yet neutral scent, which I like. I will continue to buy it, and I hope Nighty Night will be re-released...
