How to use
Apply the ANESSA Perfect UV Skincare Gel as the final step of your morning skincare routine, after moisturiser and before any makeup. For the face and neck, take approximately a 500-yen coin amount into your palm, then distribute across five points of the face — both cheeks, forehead, nose, and chin — and blend carefully into every area including the hairline and jaw. For added protection on sun-exposed areas like the nose, forehead, and cheekbones, apply a second layer over those areas specifically. For the neck, take a further amount and blend from bottom to top. For body application, apply a line directly from the tube to skin and blend in circular motions. Remove at the end of the day with your regular facial cleanser — no special remover needed.

Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

I received a trial size. It can be used on the whole body, but it also says it's OK to use as a makeup base, so I'm using it as a makeup base. So far, my makeup hasn't smudged. Since it's a well-known brand, I'm hoping it will also work as a sunscreen.
I received a sample as a gift from Suzykirei! Thank you. I tried it on my face. It's SPF50+, so it was a little difficult to spread, but it still felt like a slightly thick cream. It's not bad. I liked that it didn't dry out over time. I also like that it doesn't contain pearl (personally, I don't like pearl ingredients because they leave a white cast). There is a slight scent, but it fades after a while so it wasn't too bothersome. I'm curious to see how much it will break down in the summer, but I feel it's perfectly usable as a primer this time of year! Once I finish using the sample, I'll consider purchasing the full product.
It spreads smoothly and is very easy to apply. I didn't notice much of a scent, so I think it's perfect for people who are concerned about dry skin.
It's smooth and easy to apply. It also leaves your skin feeling moisturized, so you can wear it even in winter! However, the unique smell of Anessa bothers me, so I might not be able to use it every day. It seems like it would be a great talisman for days when you're outside a lot.
I was worried about the sticky feeling of Anessa's UB Gel, but this was moisturizing without being sticky. The gel is yellowish, so I thought it would tone up my skin, but it didn't, so I think it's easy to use.
