This is an original fragrance created by John Masters Organics using 100% natural essential oils. Based on John Masters Organics' signature Citrus & Geranium fragrance, this is an original BOTANIST fragrance. "Citrus & Geranium Scent" - A pleasant, stimulating fragrance that blends the refreshing citrus with the soothing sweetness of geranium and frankincense. 2: Contains the natural moisturizing ingredient [Yarrow Essential Oil*1]. It moisturizes hair and skin, relieving scalp itching caused by dryness. How to use
Shampoo: After wetting your hair, apply an appropriate amount, lather well, and then rinse thoroughly. Treatment: After draining the water, apply an appropriate amount to your hair, massaging it in from the middle to the ends. Rinse until your hair is smooth. Applying the product from the roots can cause stickiness, so be sure to focus on the ends.

Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

Even though it contains orange, it doesn't have a fruity feel, which is unique to essential oils. It leaves all of your hair aligned in the same direction, leaving it incredibly light, soft, and calm. The scent is only noticeable while lathering and doesn't linger after rinsing, but I really like the pleasant scent of essential oils, so I hope they continue this collaboration regularly, maybe once every few years. I'd be happy if they also had a geranium body wash at that time.
(I haven't dyed my hair in over 25 years, haven't had a perm in about 5 years, have a lot of volume, and have thick hair) The finish is smooth, but doesn't feel dry even in this season. I like the finish. I'm sensitive to scents, so there are quite a few cosmetics I can't use (I don't like Sofina or Elixir. I don't like the strong-smelling laundry detergents of today. There are many others...). I was a little scared because I couldn't try out the scent, but I trusted BOTANIST and John Masters and bought it. I was pleased that it was almost odorless, except for a slight geranium smell when washing my hair. It could do with being more scented. I prefer the scent of the pink Public Organics that I've been using for years.
I like the scent of geranium, so I bought it and used up the whole bottle, but I don't think I'll be buying it again. Since it's a collaboration between John Masters Organics and Botanist, I had high hopes for a good scent, but it wasn't that great... However, the shampoo and conditioner were pleasant to use, and the finish after drying was good, so I was disappointed that the scent wasn't that great. Maybe the combination with the citrus wasn't quite right, but it didn't quite capture the geranium scent I like.
