How to use
Use it in the same way as you would mascara, before applying mascara. When first using, thoroughly coat the brush with the base. Apply by lifting the lashes from the base to the tip. For the lower lashes, hold the brush upright and use the tip to apply. *After the above, wait until the base has dried before applying your mascara. *The black areas are fibers. US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

I bought this because I wanted a mascara base. I was originally using Canmake, but I like Kate so I bought this! I think I'll keep using it for a while longer.
I bought this for the first time in a while. I've noticed that my eyelashes are thicker than before, so I really appreciate it. I'm not sure how well it curls... but it definitely adds volume.
It didn't feel like I was wearing much, so it was a bit disappointing. I liked how it created a nice, clumpy look. I prefer a more full-coverage mascara, like Lancôme's mascara base.
Considering buying it again? Recommended by Kajieri: It's great for curl retention. However, because it turns white, it leaves a whitish residue when you apply mascara on top, making it difficult to apply neatly. A black or clear base would be easier to use. However, at this price, this performance is worth considering buying again.
