I didn't notice any particular effect. Since it's a primer, it did have the effect of making the surface of my skin feel smooth. As for keeping my makeup in place, it was a bit iffy... but now that you mention it, that's true. I didn't notice any effect on my pores at all. Even when I tried applying more or adjusting the amount, it didn't seem to correct my pores, and the pores on my nose and cheeks were more noticeable, and the foundation would fall out of my pores over time. It does have a slight scent. It smells like jasmine?
The nice scent makes me feel good when finishing my makeup. However, it doesn't really help my makeup stay in place, and it just helps to blend in any powdery makeup.
The fine mist makes it easy to use! My only concern is that I tend to forget to shake it before use... but my makeup lasts well!
I bought this because it was ranked among the best fixative mists on Suzykirei. Banila Co Prime Primer Setting Fixer provides powerful makeup hold without smudging or smudging. Shake five times before use. It's a soft, fine mist that can be sprayed evenly. It blends in easily and has excellent hold. It's also sweat- and humidity-resistant, which is a plus. It has a subtle, pleasant green floral musk scent.
I've been using Kose's Keep Miss, but I prefer Banila Co. It seems to break down makeup more cleanly. The mist has a slight scent, which is nice and lifts your spirits in the morning. If you prefer unscented products, I recommend avoiding this one.
