How to use
Apply a sufficient amount evenly so that no areas are left uncoated. If you use too little, it will be difficult to achieve the desired UV protection effect. Reapply frequently to maintain UV protection. Reapply if the product comes off, such as after wiping with a towel. To remove the product, wash your face thoroughly with a makeup remover and your body thoroughly with a lathered body cleanser. Do not use on areas with cuts, swelling, eczema or other abnormalities. Take care to check that no abnormalities occur on your skin before use. If the cosmetics do not suit your skin, discontinue use. 1. If you experience any abnormalities such as redness, swelling, itchiness, irritation, loss of color (white spots, etc.) or darkening during use. 2. Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

This is a watery milk-type sunscreen that you shake and use. It drips onto your fingers, so squeeze it out onto your palm before applying. I really like how it's quite subtle, especially in the sunscreen. It doesn't leave a harsh feeling or a white cast. It doesn't tone up, so I recommend it for those who just want sunscreen. I use it on my face, but it does cause some dryness. Those with dry skin may find it difficult to reapply unless they've thoroughly moisturized. It's difficult to reapply over makeup, so you'll need to use a separate product. It has SPF50+ and PA+++. At 60ml, it's a good value for the department store brand, with a large volume. Kao's Sofina iP is less drying, so I don't plan on repurchasing it. I purchased it at a department store.

Although it says it's for the face, Kao's website lists it as body care. Of course, it can be used on the face, but it's a bit sticky and difficult to use. I used it on my body when I went to the pool, and it didn't burn me, which was nice. I've heard that Anessa is very effective, but it doesn't suit my skin, so I'm glad I found this product.
This sunscreen is categorized as body care on the est website. The same est's daytime emulsion, Whitening Force Day Emulsion 50, costs ¥6,000 for 30ml, while this one costs ¥4,000 for 60ml. I thought I'd try this instead. It's an easy-to-use sunscreen that spreads easily and doesn't leave a white mark. The scent is quite strong, but it's not noticeable once you apply it. It's not sticky, feels smooth, and gives a slight sheen. However, this feels more like a lotion-type sunscreen than a daytime emulsion, so I still feel like I need to apply an emulsion before this. It's not drying, but I'd like it to be a little more moisturizing. So, my order of use is Opal → lotion → nighttime emulsion → this → makeup primer. Since it doesn't have the effect of a primer, I think if my makeup primer was SPF50+/PA+++, this wouldn't be necessary. However, on sunny days, using it before the primer gives me peace of mind. I used it when I went out in the summer, and I think it provided a solid sunscreen effect. It's a bit of a waste to use it on the body, so I'm not sure if I'll buy it again.
This is a body UV product for summer, but if you apply it generously for everyday use, it gives a nice glow. I've repurchased it more than three times.
