How to use
Take a cherry-sized amount into your dry palm and place it on five areas: both cheeks, forehead, nose, and chin. Gently massage your entire face in circular motions with your fingertips for about 30 seconds. Then rinse thoroughly with water or lukewarm water.

Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

I like the slightly herbal scent of Sekkisei. It's easy to use because you don't have to lather it up!
It leaves my skin feeling moisturized after washing, which is great. When rinsing with water, the gel doesn't remain and can be washed off quickly, so it's perfect for washing your face in the morning.
My skin didn't feel tight after washing, but it didn't feel particularly moisturizing either.
I bought this at the Kose flagship store. I'm not a fan of Sekkisei's pungent, herbal scent, but this one has a more aromatic, almost pleasant scent. This was my first time purchasing a gel face wash for morning use, and it's so convenient to apply directly to a dry face. The foam, or rather the gel, wears off quickly, and there's no unpleasant, coating-like feeling. My skin feels moisturized after washing. It feels like it sticks to my skin! I feel like my makeup goes on better on days I wash with this. I'd highly recommend it to anyone with dry skin who struggles with face washing. It's likely to become an essential in the spring and summer. I'd like to buy it again, but this series is limited edition, so you can only get it at larger Suzykirei stores or flagship stores, which is a shame for someone living in the countryside.
