I impulsively bought this when I went to Korea. I don't remember the price, but it wasn't too expensive. I think it was within the budget range. Unfortunately, it just didn't suit me. The good thing about it was the shine. The bad things about it were that it made pores stand out, it was dry, and it got really shiny over time. The particles aren't as fine as TFIT or something like that, just a regular powder. When I dusted it all over my face, it gave my skin a natural, beautiful glow, making it look more luxurious. The shine was really beautiful, truly living up to the name Luminous. However, this shine was a bit of a problem for me, making my pores really stand out. From around my nose to my cheeks, the even distribution of pores became more apparent amidst the glowy, beautiful skin. The pearl finish was a textbook example of how to accentuate pores. It didn't float over time, but it accentuated pores immediately upon application. It even highlighted pores on my forehead, which I've never noticed with other powders. I can't help but think it just doesn't suit me. Also, this glow turns into a shine over time. There may be some way to deal with this by touching up my makeup, but with my current level of skill, it's not enough. It also makes my skin slightly dry. I live in Thailand, so it's no exaggeration to say that I'm constantly exposed to conditions similar to those of a Japanese summer, but even in that condition, my cheeks feel dry and tight. I've never experienced this with other powders. So, I don't think I'll be repurchasing. However, the glow is really beautiful, so I'd like to explore other ways to use it, like applying it in parts as a highlighter.
The particles are so fine that it leaves your skin feeling smooth! I've tried a lot of different cosmetics from department stores, but I always come back to this one. It's affordable and excellent.
It blends well with the skin and is compact so it's easy to carry around.
It also effectively calms shine.
I ran out of the Jill Stuart powder I was using, so I bought this at a drugstore for half price. When I looked at the powder, I could see that it had glitter in it. I use it on top of foundation, dusting it thinly on just the T-zone. The glitter isn't too noticeable, it gives my skin a radiant finish, and it doesn't feel too dry. It also doesn't bother me with pores.
