What it is
A new morning routine for comfortable daily skin protection. This moisturizing, tightly-adhering cream instantly brightens, smooths, and radiates skin. It's a daytime cream that also protects skin from UV damage. It effectively blocks UVA, UVB, and penetrating UV rays (especially long-wavelength UVA).

How to use
At the end of your morning skincare routine, take approximately one pearl-sized amount onto your fingertips and spread it in a circular motion on five areas of your face (both cheeks, forehead, nose, and chin). Gently blend it into your entire face, working from the center outward. Finally, use your entire palm to seal it in. Using too little will not provide sufficient UV protection. To remove, we recommend carefully removing it with makeup remover. .Be careful not to get it in your eyes. If it does get in your eyes, rinse immediately. .Crystals from the ingredients may adhere to the opening of the container. Wipe off any crystals before use. .After use, wipe the opening of the container thoroughly and always close the cap tightly. .If your skin rubs against clothing or car seats after application, a white stain may remain on your clothing. .If it gets on your clothing, immediately wash it thoroughly with detergent. When washing, avoid using chlorine bleach, as it will turn pink. .Keep out of reach of infants and young children. .Do not store in direct sunlight or in hot, humid places. .Be careful of fire. *The SPF and PA indications on products are the results of applying 2 mg per square centimeter of skin, as specified in the SPF test method.

Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

It doesn't have the unpleasant smell of sunscreen. It's moisturizing.
It's a tube-type cream, so it's perfect for someone like me who hates to bother! When you squeeze it out, it's a slightly pink color, but when you apply it, it doesn't stain or tone up your skin. So it doesn't affect your makeup, so you can continue to use the same colors of primer and foundation you're currently using! It does have a scent, but it's not noticeable at all when you apply it. And it has strong sunscreen effects without drying out your skin! It's also good value for money, so I think I'll be buying it again!
It's smooth like a beauty serum and doesn't leave a sticky feeling on the skin. The scent is soothing! It's a little gentle, so I'm a little worried about the coverage and UV protection, but it might be good for winter or at home. Perfect for when you're stuck at home.
As the name Barrier Cream suggests, it's not a thin film, but a slightly thicker cream that adheres firmly to the skin. Many sunscreens are quite light or watery, but I'm not a fan of those types (although they can feel a bit heavy in the summer), so I really like the feel of this one. What I like about this barrier cream is how naturally it brightens the skin tone. It doesn't correct pores at all, but it does make the skin look clearer, so I recommend it. As others have said, sometimes it can feel a bit flaky. The texture is also interesting; when you take the cream with your fingers, it spreads quite a bit. The scent seems to be a selling point, but personally I don't like orange scents in skincare, so this is a bit of a minus.
I started using Benefique because I like the scent. On days when I'm at home, I use it at the end of my skincare routine and also use it as a light sunscreen. It's great that it keeps my skin moisturized until night. The only downsides are that it leaves white flakes and I have to use cleanser. I think Elixir's Derevo is easier to use. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be repurchasing this one.
