I have extremely dry skin and it was hard to find a moisturizing lotion that suited me, but this is great! It has a thick texture and keeps my skin moisturized until the next day.
I bought this because I heard it was really effective in brightening the skin tone, and it really worked. It's easy to use and I can really see the effect.
I used several bottles of the old product, but when I ran out, I bought the renewed version. It's a high-concentration VC product, but it's gentle and doesn't dry out my skin. It's a great product, and with continued use, it leaves my skin feeling moisturized, firm, and radiant. It also doesn't seem to produce the flaky mess that's common with thicker lotions. (That doesn't mean it never comes out.) However, the price has gone up, so it's even more expensive... I'm very happy with the quality, but I'm thinking of using it in combination with a less expensive lotion.
It has a thick texture and is rich in vitamin C, so I'm looking forward to seeing my skin improve in the future.
#The acclaimed VC lotion has been renewed #I wouldn't call it a downgrade, but...it's a shock! I really liked the previous lotion and don't know how many times I bought it, but honestly, I was surprised by this improvement...where did that great feel go? Texture and feel: This lotion was marketed as being "thicker" and "more moisturizing and satisfying" than the popular orange version, but compared to before, it's too thick, sticky, doesn't absorb well into the skin, and is slow to absorb. It's also very sticky, and the stickiness is terrible... The citrus scent is still there, but has it gotten a little stronger??? The change in texture has also made it difficult to use year-round, especially in the summer. I never thought I'd wear it. It's winter now, so I guess it's okay. The biggest shock was that since switching to this toner, it has become less compatible with other skincare products, causing more flaking. I know that this can happen with VC skincare products if they aren't well-matched, but it's too viscous and doesn't blend well, so I guess that's what happens... Comparison: Since this one isn't working, I thought I'd go back to the orange one. The new orange one also has a different texture and feels heavier than the previous one, which is a bit of a problem. Incidentally, the texture of this toner is similar to that of Domohorn Wrinkle's moisturizer, but that one blends in better at the end. It might suit people who like that kind of texture. I recently tried the Korean cosmetics brand Dalba's VC toner, and it seemed good, so I'm thinking of switching to that. I've lost one of my go-to cosmetics...sorry. What do you think about it? There's no need to talk about its effectiveness. I wish it would go back to the previous one.
