What it is
A treatment that was arrived at through Kao's 100 years of hair care research. For "heat damage" caused by curling irons and flat irons. For shiny, smooth, beautiful hair. Contains high concentrations* of repair ingredients malic acid and lanolin fatty acid. A rich texture that wraps around your hair and makes it stringy. A dignified and sophisticated scent of bergamot and daphne. *In THE ANSWER treatment.

How to use
After shampooing, lightly dry your hair and dispense an appropriate amount of treatment (about the size of a grape-sized grape for semi-long hair [shoulder to side length]) into your palm. Apply it to the damaged middle to the ends of your hair. After applying it well, rinse thoroughly. We recommend using it daily in combination with THE ANSWER shampoo.

Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

It has a rich, thick texture and holds hair well from the middle to the ends. However, the scent is a little weak, which is not to my liking...! (It may not be satisfying for those who like sweet scents.)

When I use it before ironing, the gloss of the finished product is completely different. It makes the surface smooth without making it heavy, and I feel like it's less likely to become stiff due to heat damage.
