What it is

The ReFa MARQUISE TWIN is a Japanese styling comb, about 182mm and 22g, with two tooth types in one head, dense on one side and coarse on the other, so you can switch between straight and wavy styling. Its streamlined marquise teeth and thick chrome-plump coating glide through hair with less friction, protecting the cuticle for a smoother, glossier finish.

Why it's different

One comb carries both dense and coarse teeth, so it handles fine detailing and looser, voluminous styling.
Each tooth is shaped in a curved, streamlined marquise form that reduces drag and is gentle on the hair.
A thick chrome-plump coating makes the teeth smooth and rounded, protecting the cuticle while it combs.

How to use

1. Use the dense side to smooth and define straighter styles with more tension.
2. Use the coarse side to comb through waves, volume, or frizz like a gentle finger-comb.
3. Comb slowly from the ends up to avoid tugging.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this authentic?

Yes. We only buy from official retailers and directly from the brands here in Japan. Never resellers, never grey market stock.

We are beauty lovers too, so we know the worry, especially with something you are putting on your face. Authenticity is 100% guaranteed by us.

What are the two sides for?

One side has dense teeth for smoothing and defining straighter styles with tension, and the other has coarse teeth for combing through waves, volume, or frizz gently.

How is it gentler than a normal comb?

The teeth use a curved marquise shape and a thick, smooth chrome coating to reduce friction and drag, which helps protect the cuticle and keep hair shiny.

Is it electric?

No. It is a precision styling comb, not a powered tool, so there is nothing to charge and no voltage to consider.

What hair types is it best for?

It suits most hair types. The coarse side is especially helpful for hair that spreads, frizzes, or waves, while the dense side refines sleeker looks.
