(Backordered) Prada Beauty Refine Blurring Extending Primer, 30ml

It was perfect for my dry yet oily skin. It's refreshing yet moisturizing and controls shine, so I use it on top of my usual foundation on the T-zone.

I was so impressed with the quality of the sample I used that I immediately purchased it. It's an excellent product that can be used as both a primer and skincare product. I always apply it before sunscreen. It has the best pore coverage of any primer I've ever used. It naturally blurs and hides pores, but if you apply too much, it can cause blemishes to appear, so it's best to apply a thin layer only where needed. Pairing this with Prada's mesh cushion foundation gives you beautiful, porcelain-like skin, so I highly recommend it!

I bought this along with my cushion foundation. It's a green gel-like cream. It separated the first time I used it, but it was fine after I squeezed out a little. It spreads easily and has a smooth texture. I haven't compared it with and without it yet, but it didn't break down even after being in the air conditioner for a long time or sweating. The only downside is that it's used before sunscreen, so you have to be careful not to use it every morning.

As someone mentioned in a review, caution is advised when using this product for the first time. It releases an oil-like substance, so it may be best to shake it before use. After shaking it once, it releases normally, so it seems like you'll be fine the first time! Another thing to note is that it's recommended to apply sunscreen after using this! It spreads easily and feels light on application, but it leaves a fairly matte finish, so it seems like it's best for people with dry skin like me to use it on specific areas. The official website claims that it contains skincare ingredients that leave skin feeling smooth and moisturized, smoothing the skin with each use and treating exfoliating and pores. I'll continue using it and see how it works. I also use Yves Saint Laurent's primer, but I currently prefer its feel. It's similarly light, but not as heavy as Prada's, with just the right amount of lightness. If you find Prada's primer too drying, I recommend trying Yves Saint Laurent's primer. However, when combined with Prada's primer cushion foundation, it gives a beautiful finish and fades smoothly, so I think it might be a good idea to use different ones depending on the condition of your skin and the season you use it in.

I have combination skin that leans towards oily, and I struggle with sagging pores, flared pores on my nose, and shine in my T-zone. I love the brand's cushion foundation, and when I bought the new concealer or their standard powder, I also bought this primer. However, even though I was looking forward to the concealer and powder, the primer ended up being my favorite (lol). I'd originally been a fan of Crede's Voir Correcture n and Voir Lumiere, but perhaps due to my mandatory mask-wearing work, I was always concerned about makeup smudging due to humidity and rubbing. Of course, my makeup stays on well without a mask, but it's inevitable that it will come off at work. So, when I tried this primer, I looked in the mirror during my lunch break and saw that my makeup hadn't come off at all! It didn't clog my pores, smudge, or fade, and I was surprised to see that it was almost completely shine-free. There was a little shine around my nose, but a light pat quickly restored it. After using it for a few days, I still felt the same way, so I think it really is a good fit for me. The texture is similar to a silicone-like pore-filling primer like Voile Matifi en Lissant. However, it didn't fill in the pores on my nose. It did a little better on my cheeks, maybe? It does have a subtle green tint, but it's barely noticeable on my face, and it doesn't do anything to hide blemishes, freckles, or dark circles or even out uneven skin tone. I haven't really noticed any skin-beautifying effects with continued use, so far. Maybe it's made my skin a little smoother? It doesn't offer any UV protection, either. Still, the makeup lasts longer than this. I'm never disappointed when I look in the mirror. I don't experience dryness even in this season, but the ingredients seem unsuitable for sensitive or dry skin. I recommend it for combination to oily skin types who struggle with makeup breakdown. It's also more expensive than Crede primers, which are often considered expensive. The value for money is incredibly poor.
