What it is
Savex is a lip balm brand originating from Los Angeles, USA. It's one of Japan's most well-known brands, having been around for over 20 years. Its smooth application, firmness, and moisturizing properties prevent dryness and roughness. This lip balm uses Japanese yuzu fruit oil (essential oil) extracted using a distiller at Libra Nature Therapy Co., Ltd., a long-established aroma oil manufacturer in Japan. The refreshing scent found in yuzu peel is particularly noteworthy. Among citrus fruits, the refreshing scent of yuzu is known for its relaxing effects, thanks to its main component, limonene.

Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

It has a soft texture and a nice yuzu scent.
It has just the right consistency, and even when your lips are chapped, it spreads smoothly and feels like it provides solid protection. I don't like scented lip products because they make me feel nauseous, but this one has a refreshing scent that's a big plus. I'll buy it again when I run out.
I used to love the vanilla flavor. The packaging is cute and the yuzu flavor is quite nice. It's refreshing but doesn't sting. I later bought some as gifts for friends. Next time, I'd like to try the vanilla flavor again.
It has a wonderful scent of natural essential oils. I feel like it's rare to find a lip product in this price range that isn't made with synthetic fragrances. Since it's made with Sabex, it's also great to use. I'll definitely buy it again when I run out!
