The packaging is lovely. The lipstick itself is neither good nor bad, with no peculiar or unpleasant scent. The texture feels a little firmer. The Hermès one is a little smoother, but the feel and texture are basically the same.
The color is quite light, but it changes over time. It doesn't adhere well and doesn't feel as moisturizing as a balm. It's very cute, but I don't think it's worth the price.
I bought this as a treat for myself! It looks cool and cute, and just holding it makes me feel excited. However, although the color is a lovely pale pink, I'm not sure if it can be used alone to create a perfect finish, so I feel like it's truly a luxury item.
I bought this as a year-end treat. The packaging is luxurious and just holding it lifts my spirits. The essential texture is a soft, moisturizing feel, which may not be enough for winter. It supposedly changes color with pH, but perhaps because my dry, dehydrated skin is the problem, I barely noticed any color...it didn't improve my complexion... It doesn't interfere with the lipstick I apply next (it doesn't smudge). It's a product that's purely meant to lift my spirits. It's cute, so that's all I need.
