What it is
"Naturally derived ingredients support your skin's natural strength!" This non-chemical peeling* soap for the body uses natural ingredients to remove dullness and roughness, leaving your skin feeling refreshed and healthy. (*Removing dirt by washing.) While the term "peeling" typically conjures up images of chemical peels, this product contains naturally derived AHAs (malic acid, lactic acid, and citric acid) and fermented rose honey as peeling ingredients. Simply apply the soft lather to your skin and rinse to easily exfoliate. It also contains botanical scrubs like walnut shells and olive seeds. Applying the soap directly to areas requiring deep care, like elbows and heels, will leave your skin feeling even smoother. It also contains four herbal extracts (lavender flower extract, Roman chamomile flower extract, rosemary leaf extract, and tea tree extract) and bark extract to condition your skin after exfoliation. Proper exfoliation supports your skin's natural strength. A refreshing green herbal scent that evokes nature and the forest.

Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

I'm not sure if it's actually peeling, but it's not bad. It's slippery, so it's a moisturizing peeling at the same time.
I thought it was a little pricey for a soap, but it lasts about three months, so I think it's not bad value for money. I used it over the summer, and before I knew it, my back acne had decreased. I plan to buy it again.
It has a herbal, lemony scent. It leaves your skin feeling refreshed, but not dry! It's also easy to rinse off. I love it!
Pelican often produces soaps with scrubs, so I've tried a few. This one is called Forest Peeling, and it's a green soap with a herbal scent. At first glance, it seems like it would have a refreshing feel, but I personally feel like it leaves my skin feeling moisturized after washing. It contains a scrub, so it has a refreshing feeling, but it doesn't dry out my skin, leaving it smooth and allowing the body milk to absorb better. I like how convenient it is to wash by stroking it.
