How to use
Take an appropriate amount of foundation onto the sponge and spread it evenly. [Instructions for use] Do not wet the sponge before use. If the sponge becomes dirty, it will be difficult to apply foundation, so always keep it clean. If the sponge becomes dirty, use the separately sold "Shiseido Sponge Cleaner N" or gently press it with a mild detergent diluted in lukewarm water. After rinsing thoroughly to remove all detergent, drain the water and dry well in the shade before using.

Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

I bought this because I felt I had reached the limit of applying gel foundation by hand. It's so much easier to apply and is so much more convenient than before. It's soft and feels great on the skin.
This is the sponge I'm currently using. I bought it because I didn't like the sponge that came with Maquillage's liquid foundation (it was too thin!). It's elastic and allows me to apply my current gel foundation beautifully. (When I tried applying it with a different sponge, it was uneven and a complete failure.) This is designed for cream and gel foundations. Liquid foundations don't work because they get absorbed into the sponge.
I was so happy that I was able to stretch it so beautifully! I was really grateful for the carrying cover.
I bought this because the sponge used at the Maquillage seminar felt so good....Maybe it was different. The foundation adheres well, but this one is a little harder. It's a shame I can't experience that same feeling. But the finish is beautiful, so I think it was a good purchase. It stays firm even after washing, so I think it will last a long time.
I bought it without checking the size and was surprised at how small and thin it was. Because it's thin, it feels hard on the skin. I don't recommend it for people who like fluffy, spongy sponges. The finish is average.
