What it is
This sponge for liquid, cream and solid emulsion foundations allows you to apply foundation quickly and beautifully, thanks to its shape. angle, thickness and size. that is carefully calculated to match the contours of your face and the skills of a professional. Use the wide side to spread the foundation all over, and the fine tip to apply it to small areas for a more beautiful finish.

How to use
Take an appropriate amount of foundation onto the sponge and spread it evenly. [Instructions for use] Do not wet the sponge. A dirty sponge will make it difficult for foundation to adhere, so always keep it clean. If the sponge becomes dirty, use Shiseido Sponge Cleaner N (sold separately) or gently press it into a clean spot with a mild detergent diluted in lukewarm water. After rinsing thoroughly to remove all detergent, drain the water and dry thoroughly in the shade before use. For Anessa foundation, use the dedicated sponge (sold separately).

Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

It absorbed both my foundation and primer and I couldn't use it properly. I ended up using twice the amount I normally use.
I bought this after seeing Shiseido beauty consultants using it frequently on social media. I spread Maquillage serum foundation in a circular motion and then pat it into my skin with this sponge. It's thick and easy to hold, and the case makes it convenient for touch-ups, so it's great for storing and carrying around. I can use it to wipe away any smudges, and I'm considering using it for powder next time! Cheap, disposable ones are fine, but using a sturdy one like this is addictive.
