Insert the pencil straight in and sharpen it while gently turning it. For pencils of normal thickness, remove the adapter ring for adjusting thickness before use. For thin pencils, leave the adapter ring on. [Precautions for use] ◇After use, remove the shavings with a cleaning stick, then wipe off any dirt with tissue paper or a dry cloth.
