What it is
"Hada Labo Shirojun Medicated Whitening Lotion" is a refreshing medicated whitening lotion that focuses on moisture and whiteness. It contains white tranexamic acid as an active whitening ingredient, and allantoin, an active ingredient for preventing rough skin. It also contains vitamin C derivative*, vitamin E, Job's tears extract*, Job's tears fermented liquid, and two types of hyaluronic acid as moisturizing ingredients for skin conditioning. It prevents acne while moisturizing, leading to smooth and smooth skin. Weakly acidic. Fragrance-free. Colorant-free. Mineral oil-free. Alcohol. ethanol. free. Paraben-free. How to use
After washing your face, take an appropriate amount in the palm of your hand, apply it to your skin, and gently press it in to absorb. Whitening ingredient crystals may adhere to the pump. If this occurs, wipe them off with clean gauze before use.

I've been using this lotion for the past few years, as it moisturizes without being sticky. I want to achieve whiter skin, but I like to use a lot of lotion, so I'm really happy with this amount at this price! I wonder if I've ever had acne since using this, as I don't remember ever getting any. I use other whitening skincare products, so I can't say for sure, but I feel like my skin tone is a little brighter than before I wasn't using this lotion.
I usually use Gokujyun Premium, but after seeing this recommended on YouTube, I wanted to try it out, so I bought it along with the lotion. I used Shirojun 5 or 6 years ago, but it seems the ingredients have changed quite a bit. I was a little worried because it can make my skin red if it doesn't suit me, but there were no problems. Gokujyun Premium has a thick, jelly-like consistency, so this has a refreshing, smooth texture. But it feels like it absorbs easily into the skin. I have dry skin, so I apply it in two separate steps. After that, I apply the lotion twice. It's moisturizing yet smooth. I'm concerned about the dark spots that have appeared, so I'm going to try using Shirojun for a while!
It's non-sticky, so I use it in the morning before applying makeup. I like how it's pump-type, making it easy to dispense the lotion. It comes in a 400ml bottle, so I don't have to worry about it running out quickly.
It's a little refreshing and dry at this time of year, so I think it's good for summer.
