I like all botanical shampoos because they all have a nice scent, but this one has a refreshing scent that even men could use. It washes very well and I like it! However, it doesn't seem to have much moisturizing power, so I wish it was a little more moisturizing. In winter, it may feel a little dry. It's perfect for summer!
I've used all the BOTANIST products, but now I use it for the first shampoo before pre-washing. Moist and Smooth don't seem to remove dirt as well, so I recommend Bouncy Volume or Scalp Cleanse for this purpose. When I shampooed with only Bouncy Volume, my scalp became dry and flaky, so Scalp Cleanse seems to work best for me. Just for your reference!
I tried using it in the summer for my scalp, but it made my hair tangled.
I chose Scalp Cleanse from BOTANIST, which I had been thinking about trying for a while, because I thought it would be perfect for the season when sweat and stickiness are a concern. I liked the refreshing scent and the way it cleansed my scalp. The treatment also left a smooth finish without leaving a sticky feeling. Some people may find it unsatisfying, but since I use out-of-bath treatments and styling products such as oils, this level of lightness was comfortable for me, as I have thin hair. It didn't make my hair dry or stiff, and I liked the feeling that it removed unnecessary substances without adding anything extra.
I don't dye my hair, and it's thin. I couldn't find a shampoo that suited me, so I tried a lot of different types, and finally found this series. I was worried that regular shampoos didn't completely remove the dirt and odor. (I'm one of those people who doesn't like to take baths.) So I found this shampoo and conditioner at the drugstore, and when I tried it, it seemed to remove the dirt and odor, and I was satisfied with the result, without any roughness or itching. I've been using it for a long time now.
