I always buy this mask again and again. I use it every day in the winter to combat dry skin.
It was good. I found it on a cart for 628 yen (excluding tax). It's quite moist for the price. The sheet was thicker than I expected and felt good. I used it up.
I bought this at a drugstore because it was on sale. It's as moisturizing as the name suggests. I have a large face, so sometimes the sheets aren't enough, but this one moisturizes my face thoroughly from my forehead to under my chin. I think it's enough for everyday use.
I've tried a variety of face packs, from budget brands to department store brands, but for some reason, this one works the best for me. My skin feels plump and supple the next morning, and my complexion is brighter. I wonder if it's because it's so moisturizing? I have no idea, but it's cheap and I'm very grateful. It's a bit of a hassle when the edges peel off while you're using it, but it's within the realm of acceptability. Because it's such a nostalgic product, it's often placed in the corner of the bottom shelf in stores, so I buy it in bulk every day, hoping it won't be discontinued!
Lately, there's been a lot of mixed reviews of sheet masks, some good and some bad, so I'm hesitant to use them. But I want moisture, so I'll use them. The big-capacity packs are appealing, but I was influenced by things like "preservatives" and went for the individually wrapped ones. I selected a good deal from my local drugstore. Yeah, the sheets themselves are definitely more luxurious than the larger ones...they're sturdier. Is this because they're "waffle sheets that penetrate deeply"? Is it because they're not a face mask to replace lotion, but a serum? Either way, they're perfect for special occasions, not everyday use. However, if you're concerned about dry skin, 20 minutes seems a bit long. Maybe it's because I'm used to 5-10 minutes. I used to think it was a waste to peel them off after 5 minutes! (;^_^A Well, I'll adjust my usage accordingly...I don't notice any dramatic changes with single-use, but they're an item I'll incorporate occasionally when I want extra moisture. The fact that they're individually wrapped makes it easy to use in that way.
