What it is
This powder foundation set includes a refill, case, and puff. It brings out the natural beauty of your skin, creating a silky smooth finish. It glides on smoothly, blending seamlessly with your skin, blurring uneven skin tone, dullness, and pores with a soft, radiant reflection. It leaves a lasting, lightweight, and moisturized finish, perfect for any occasion. The pigments are coated for comfort, even on sensitive skin. Features: Skin Blurring Powder (Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Alumina). This powder contains a high concentration of two types of powder—plate-shaped and spherical—that have the same refractive index as human skin. Its carefully designed soft focus effect beautifully brings out your skin's unique translucence, fine texture, and a subtle, radiant glow. ● Clear Mica (Synthetic Fluorphlogopite) Resistant to sweat and sebum, it maintains its fresh, clear beauty even over time. ● Moisture Control Powder (Calcium Carbonate, Hydroxyapatite) Preserves moisture and essential oils (triglycerides) while adsorbing excess oils (fatty acids), providing long-lasting moisture retention. ● Sakuran (Aphanothece sacrum polysaccharide) A polysaccharide derived from algae with excellent water-holding properties. Protects skin's moisture. ● Sodium Polyaspartate Highly compatible with skin and excellent moisture absorption, maintaining a moisturized state. <Color> 01: A pink-nuanced nude color that brings a clear, rosy glow to the skin. 02: A neutral nude color that subtly covers redness while brightening the skin. 03: A neutral ochre nude color that creates a healthy-looking complexion.

It's a natural semi-matte finish. It doesn't feel thick, which is nice. The puff is certainly hard, but you don't use it by sliding it around, you apply it by tapping the sponge side on. It's a powder, but it sticks to your skin like a cushion. It's easier to apply if it's dry. The brushed side is convenient for touch-ups. I used Osaji BB as a base, but I'd like to try different products. It doesn't crumble in any weird way, so I might buy it again. Both the puff and the powder are unique to Osaji.

When it was first released, I bought the case and two puffs, but the puffs were too harsh and didn't stick well, causing some stinging, so I didn't use it much. However, when I tried using it again with a softer puff, it was a very smooth, semi-matte finish, and once it blended in, it gave my cheeks a radiant glow. I liked the texture, so I started using it again, and now that I've finally run out, I've decided to buy it again! I love it!
I'm raising my rating. From 3 to 6 stars. Changing my application method resulted in a beautiful finish. The key is using face powder after primer (which I skipped last time). Keeping my skin smooth with this, the Face Duo applied evenly and provided decent coverage—a bit of a culture (makeup) shock (lol)! It's also natural-looking, yet still looks beautiful. It's not powdery at all. It's more on the semi-matte side, which I like, but because it feels natural, it's not overly formal and I think most people will be satisfied. It lasts well and the color doesn't sink in. That disappointment from last time is long gone. Sorry for jumping to conclusions, Osaji! I've come to realize that Osaji is great in every way. If it's this beautiful, I think it could stand up to being used alone. See my first review here: Osaji's appeal lies in its nuanced color payoff. This foundation is also quite sheer. I'm not good at applying makeup with a sponge, so I use Shiseido's Face Duo to layer it over my liquid foundation. It creates a nice, foggy look. However, when I applied this foundation alone, it was thin and a little uneven. Perhaps because the powder contains oil, it clumps easily. I gave up using a brush and used the Rosie Rosa Multi-Foundation Puff several times before I could finally notice that I was wearing foundation. I could have used the included sponge, but perhaps my inability to properly use the different textures on each side was the problem. The particles aren't particularly fine, and while it looks good from a distance, it feels a little lacking in smoothness up close. The color also seems to fade somewhat over time. This foundation seems to be suitable for those with very fair skin who prefer to wear a foundation. While I have almost no skin problems, I also like full coverage, so it would probably be better to use it as a face powder instead. It's a shame, as it's designed for sensitive skin, doesn't irritate my skin, and is comfortable to use. I love Osaji, but I don't think I'll be repurchasing this one.
