Popular foreign cosmetic brands are great, but I also love hidden gems like Valentino and Armani. This time, I've been wanting to try Armani's eye tint for a while! I was about to head to the Ginza Mitsukoshi store, but it was closed?! What a pain! I looked into it and found out that it's available at Armani stores, even though I don't own any Armani apparel lol. I told them I was looking for a color that I could use as a highlighter and from the recommendations they gave me, I chose #9 Cool Copper. It's a deep, cool color, but not too heavy and has a very sheer look when applied thinly. I find one color isn't enough for me, so I layer one or two other eyeshadows on top, but the powder eyeshadow goes on beautifully. I've always thought that these types of eyeshadows tend to be slow to dry or feel sticky, but this one has a strong color that doesn't smudge even when layered, and it has a thin, moisturizing film that adheres tightly to the skin. It stays on all day, even in this humid climate. I've heard that it can be mixed or layered, so it will definitely be great for summer or for leisure activities. I'm currently daydreaming about which additional shade to choose. Looking at the shade, it seems sexy and would look great at the beach in the evening, at dinner or in a bar. It's a color that you'd expect from a luxury brand. I love Bobbi and Make Up Forever's stick shades, but they dry too quickly and get dry and shiny if applied thickly, so I have to be careful with how I use them. In that respect, this eye tint is the easiest to use! The liquid blush and eye tint are both made with incredible skill.
I've been wanting this eye tint for a while!! It's been sold out at department stores and difficult to get hold of, but when I asked at the counter, they said they had it in stock. I wondered if they had it in stock at Suzykirei, and it turns out they had both cashew and camel!! I thought I'd buy both during Special Week, but the cashew one sold out in a flash!! So this time, I only bought the camel one. Cashew was more popular, so I hesitated for a moment, but I was so glad I bought it!! It's great!! It's just the right amount of camel! I can use it as a base, layer it on its own, and apply it over various shades, including Bobbi Brown Moonstone, Addiction Mariage, Ombre & Paupleres, and Chanel Blanc Perle. They all paid off beautifully, and the glitter stayed in place, preventing any need for touch-ups. The glitter didn't smudge on my cheeks. And what's even more remarkable is that the eyeliner doesn't smudge. Even if I apply the eyeliner with a pencil, then add eyeshadow and slightly flick the outer corner of my eye, it still looks beautiful. However, maybe because it doesn't smudge, I feel a little dry at night?? But if I use eye cream to moisturize it well, it's fine!! I'll buy the cashew flavor again when it's in stock!! Please help us get it in stock, Suzykirei!!
It's known for being a high-quality eyeshadow that's easy to blend, and when I tried it out, that was definitely true. I chose this color because I was looking for a beige that wasn't too warm, and it created the deep, deep look I wanted in 10 seconds, which I'm very happy with. Because it's liquid, there's no need to use an eye base, making it incredibly easy to use.
I was able to exchange it for a good product. It's so easy to use, it goes on so smoothly, it makes me wonder what all the trouble was for. Haha, I'm glad I was able to exchange it. Pink Sakura is unique in a way compared to the other colors. The other colors are deeper, so I want to explore them too. (See my second post below.) I ended up with a defective product. Immediately after opening, it felt strangely hard, and it was hard to apply with the tip, making it difficult to apply properly. Upon closer inspection, I discovered the eyeshadow had hardened inside. I tried to mix it well with a disposable stick, but an orange oil separated and came out. (See my first post below.) I was looking for a pink eyeshadow that wasn't a powder, and I happened to come across 70M SAKURA. It was Beauty Day, so I bought it. It was a great deal. The pale pink spring color is cute, and it also makes a good eyeshadow base. I've never seen Armani cosmetics promoted, so maybe it's just known to those in the know, but all the items I own are excellent. I'm considering buying a liquid blush that's not sold on Suzykirei next.
