The fine, smooth texture of the sponge allows you to apply foundation evenly. For a beautiful finish, always keep the sponge clean. If you use the sponge while it is dirty, it may be difficult to apply foundation. If the sponge becomes dirty, gently press it in lukewarm water with a diluted neutral detergent, rinse it lightly, then dry it with a towel or other item and be sure to dry it in the shade.
