I've been trying different shampoos lately because I've been leaning more towards organics. My hair is medium-long, with a lot of volume, medium stiffness, and medium thickness, and is straight and color-treated. My hair tends to get flat on top, and depending on the shampoo and conditioner, I get itchy scalp, a noticeable odor, and am prone to acne along the hairline. I also experience some damage to the ends from using curling irons. What I look for in a shampoo is: Amino acid cleansing ingredients; silicone-free; Shampoo that can be used alone (no conditioner needed); A shampoo that doesn't sting or snag during washing or hair drying; and one that doesn't cause acne. This shampoo doesn't contain any ingredients I'm particularly wary of, and it contains keratin, silk, collagen, platinum, and other ingredients, so it seemed relatively safe, so I bought it. The texture is brown, fairly smooth for a shampoo, and odorless. I only shower and pre-wash for about two minutes before washing, so it lathers well and there was no tangling or stinging during the wash. However, the foam doesn't last long and easily dissipates, so if I use a foam pack, the foam disappears considerably before I know it. It was easy to rinse out, with no particular stiffness or tangles. However, when I towel-dried my hair, it felt stiff and stiff, making it difficult to comb and even drying with a hair dryer. Once it dried, it became smooth and manageable, but the process of drying it was quite tiring, and frankly, it got quite tangled. My hair isn't particularly fluffy on top, and the ends are dry and a bit frizzy, so I apply the oil from the after-bath treatment and blow-dry to keep it tame. Even after drying, it still tangled a little when I combed it with my hands, so I think it's more suited to healthy hair than damaged hair. I think it's fine for those who use conditioners. I think this product, as the name suggests, is aimed at those who want to add bounce and body to their hair. For me, it made my hair too stiff and stiff, making it difficult to manage. Also, the smell wasn't noticeable on the day I washed, but the next day, I noticed a slight scalp odor, perhaps because the cleansing ingredients were weak. I didn't get any scalp acne or acne on my back or décolleté. I'd like to try Natural Cosmo next, so I won't be repurchasing.
It's gentle on the hair and thoroughly cares for the scalp! It leaves a refreshing feeling. It lathers well too. I love the moisturizing finish!
HARICOC shampoo. It's been about five years! I've been using it for ages, but I forgot to write a review. This shampoo has no scent, but it's gentle and definitely adds volume and body. It doesn't overly bulk or make my hair feel stiff, but it gently adds volume and body. And the reason I keep using this shampoo is because when I use it with the conditioner, my hair, which is quite curly and dry, yet thin and fine (how contradictory that may seem), becomes shiny, smooth, and easy to manage. Somehow, the combination of this shampoo and conditioner really nails my permed, curly hair! That's my best way to use it. After washing with this shampoo, I pat myself dry, apply a Kyoho grape-sized amount of conditioner (for bob length hair), spread it evenly, and wrap my hair in a towel. I leave it in the bathtub for about 10 minutes, then remove the towel. Now, here's the trick. Look down, lower your head, grab a section of hair, and squeeze it tightly. If you have a special outing tomorrow, do this thoroughly about 50-60 times, but on a normal day, about 30 times. Then, use a bucket with a handle to rinse with the right amount of water. Three and a half cups will leave your hair relatively soft with less bounce and smooth roots, while two and a half cups will leave your hair more bounce and bounce. After blow-drying, your hair will straighten out (probably because the silicone covers the surface more), and if you go outside on a rainy day, the humidity will return it to its normal shape, minimizing the impact. If I don't use this combination on humid days, my hair gets all messed up, so it's a real lifesaver. Experiment with the amount of hot water you use to find the best amount for you. I recommend using it with a treatment!
