How to use
Spread 1-2 pumps onto your palm and work it into your hair starting from the ends. For medium-long hair, 2-3 pumps is the appropriate amount. Can be used on both dry and damp hair.

Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

It moisturizes immediately after application. I have highlights and have partially bleached hair, so I use one pump of Steven Knoll's bleach hair milk, which is the same as this oil. My hair is very dry, so it doesn't last a day, so I keep another bottle at work and reapply around lunchtime.
I received this as a gift from Steven Knoll a while ago, and I've used it up, so I'll write a review. I used it several times every 2-3 weeks after getting my hair dyed at the salon, and it definitely reduced the color fading compared to not using it at all. However, I like heavier hair oils, so I feel like the texture was a bit too smooth. I recommend it if you don't care about moisture and want to prevent color fading.
I bought this because I was worried that my hair color wouldn't last long. It's a light oil with a nice scent. It spreads well and a small amount is enough for a long time.
It has a nice smell and leaves your hair feeling smooth. I'll have to wait and see if it keeps the color.
I apply it to wet hair after shampooing and then blow dry it. It spreads easily and is easy to apply all over. After drying, the texture is smooth and not sticky. It doesn't leave a very moist feeling, so if you want a moist feeling, I recommend using a different oil for styling. I don't know much about the color retention, but I think it must be good, so I use it.
