I hadn't used it for a while since the new product was released, but my skin started to dry out in the winter, so I decided to go back to it. After washing my face, I spread one or two drops on my palms and cover my face with both hands. It's an oil, but it's not sticky, and the lotion I use afterwards penetrates well, so I recommend it for those with dry skin. It gives my skin a radiant glow and makes it look "healthy." I've used other introductory products, but this is the one that I've definitely noticed the effects of.
Even though it's an oil, it's not sticky, and even though I have inner dryness, it doesn't feel dry and my fine lines have disappeared. I highly recommend it. It's a bit pricey, so I use it carefully.
This is my fourth refill. I also use oils from other brands, but I use this one more often during the dry winter months. It's a pre-oil that you use after washing your face, but I often apply 5-6 drops before bathing (after washing my face) and use it in a steam bath. It leaves my skin plump and supple, improving the texture. It has a distinctive herbal scent.
I've been using this oil for over five years now as a nighttime treatment to combat dryness during the winter months. I love that it's not too heavy, even though it's an oil. Known as an eternal flower, immortelle has vibrant yellow petals that apparently retain their shape and color even after being picked. Since ancient times, it has been said to have powerful regenerative properties and has been used to treat wounds and bruises. Apparently, L'Occitane is particular about using immortelle from Corsica.
Of all the products in the Immortelle series I've tried, this one was the best. It has a nice scent and lasting moisturizing effect, so I found it very easy to use, especially in the winter. However, I did find it a bit more irritating to the eyes than other oil-based products.
