This is my first review, and I'm grateful for it. I've been feeling dry skin irritation this winter, so I tried the Dry-san series for the first time. After applying my toner and sheet mask, I apply the Dry-san night care pack in the morning, then my sunscreen, then this skincare balm, and then the Dry-san balm foundation for base makeup. It's amazing! This balm primer in particular not only protects against dryness, but also seems to firmly set the foundation and concealer I apply afterwards, preventing them from smudging. It gives a glossy finish and makes makeup look great. I apply this balm all over my face with a thin cushion foundation puff, so the shape and size of this container are perfect. This method of application allows for the most even application, whether thin or thick, and I think it keeps dust off the balm's surface, so I highly recommend it. I also like how easy it is to control the amount of makeup I apply over my makeup, compared to applying it directly with a stick. Up until now, this was already a 7-star rating, but this morning I realized I could make a cream blush by mixing a little of this balm with a little of my powder blush. My skin has become so sensitive recently that even powder blushes dry out, so this is a real lifesaver! If your blush is dry, or if you have too much matte blush, or if you have a little bit of blush left in the corners after using it, please give this a try. Just scrape off a little and mix it with balm to create a lovely, glossy cream blush for the day. So, I was so impressed that I decided to write my first review. I always find your reviews helpful. Thank you ^-^
This is a colorless, odorless, firm balm for sensitive, dry, and cool-toned skin. After applying primer, I warm it with my fingertips and apply it only to areas where dryness is a concern. Right now, I'm really concerned about dryness, so I'm also applying it to the upper part of my forehead, around my eyes and mouth, and on my cheeks. This is great because it helps to reduce the dryness of concealer. It leaves my skin shiny, but if I pat on powder at the end, it doesn't bother me. My only concern is that dust gets on the surface of the balm, but the feel hasn't changed, so I'll continue to use it, and I think I'll repurchase it even when I run out.

When I was in elementary school, I had brown wrinkles under my eyes, probably due to pigmentation...and of course, I still have them now (lol). I still have fine and deep wrinkles (tears). So, I've given up on them, but I'm worried that applying makeup makes them even more noticeable, and I thought it might be because of dry skin... so I did some research and found this. I read that applying lip balm under your eyes is good, and I tried it, so I decided to use something proper instead of lip balm (lol). I use primer, foundation, balm, and concealer in that order, but that's just for my lower eyelids. I don't really put foundation on my lower eyelids that often. Lately, my skin has been so dry that when I wear makeup, the skin around my mouth gets flaky at night, so I apply balm after primer to deal with that. I compared the difference between applying and not applying on both sides of my lower eyelids, and it was so obvious I yelled out loud (lol). In my case, I have so many wrinkles that it's impossible to completely eliminate them, but the fine lines from dry skin are noticeably less noticeable!! It depends on the day, but over time, both sides will look the same. There may be days when the area around my mouth gets wrinkled, but it's better than being completely dry (lol). My skin no longer peels! It also seems to have sunscreen properties, and it doesn't run out at all, so it seems like good value for money. I might never let it go!
I bought this at Don Quijote because it was on sale. It has a subtle scent similar to old-fashioned face powder. I wasn't sure how to use it, so at first I tried rubbing it on my fingers and applying it to the wrinkles and flaky areas under my eyes, but I wasn't really sure how effective it was, and I was worried about dust getting on the surface, so I stopped using it for a while. However, when I decided to write a review and read other reviews, I saw that it was recommended to apply it with a puff, so I tried using a teardrop-shaped cushion puff I bought at a 100 yen store. It didn't get my hands or skin dirty, and it left my skin feeling more moisturized and radiant than when I applied it thinly with my fingers! It's great because it doubles as sunscreen on days when I'm not wearing makeup. Also, some people have said to apply it on your neck and hands, so I think I might be able to use it all up, which was very helpful.
