Dry and brush your hair. To remove tangles and loose hair, comb your hair with a brush and straighten it before use. Block your hair. First, divide your hair into left and right sections, then into top and bottom sections. Twist each section and secure each section with a hair clip. For thicker hair, adding more sections will make styling easier. Plug the power cord into an outlet and turn the power on by pressing the power switch. Press the temperature setting switch to set your desired temperature. Press the (+) button to increase the temperature and the (-) button to decrease the temperature. When the selected temperature setting lamp changes from flashing to a steady light, it indicates that the desired temperature has been reached.
