What it is
A retractable eyebrow pencil that gives a natural look to your eyebrows with a soft feel on the skin, smooth application, not too strong color, and strong adhesion to sebum. A screw brush is attached to the other side, so you can easily create basic eyebrow makeup with a simple process of drawing and blending. It uses a 1. 5mm thin core that makes it easy to draw delicate lines. It is an item that can be easily used even by beginners to eyebrow makeup. COLOR VARIATION01: Charcoal gray with ash nuances. 02: Brown with a mellow reddish hue. 03: Maroon brown with khaki nuances. *If you use it with the brow shadow palette, it is recommended to use 01 with 01 and 02 with 02 for a better blend.

I love using 02. It's so easy to apply. I also like that it's an exquisite color that goes with any hair color!
#What's the difference between expensive eyebrow cosmetics? #I bought this to go with the new eyebrow palette from my favorite brand. I've only been using affordable eyebrow cosmetics for a long time, so an eyebrow pencil over ¥2000 is considered "expensive" to me, lol. Purchased color: 03, to match the color 03 in the eyebrow palette. A soft, easy-to-use ash-brown. Texture and feel: Retractable, with a screw brush, a 1.5mm ultra-fine tip, and a length that's not too short...these are the basic features I look for in an eyebrow pencil. The tip's thinness, in particular, is what's best for creating the closest brow thickness and allowing you to add natural, individual brows one by one, which is great. However, this is actually something you can find in affordable products. Ultimately, the difference comes down to "being able to draw the desired look with just the right amount of pressure." I was impressed by how smoothly I could apply this with just the right amount of pressure—neither too strong nor too weak—especially when filling in areas where there isn't much brow growth. It also lasts well. If you're looking for all-day durability, it's probably best to carry one with you. Comparison: Budget-friendly eyebrow pencils from brands like KATE and CEZANNE are also high quality, available in a wide variety of colors, and are consumables, so it's certainly a matter of personal preference. Comparing them to other department store brands, some offer pencils with a wide variety of colors, naginata-style retractable lashes, and customizable or replaceable cartridges. For those seeking newer functionality and individuality not found in budget-friendly products, this one lacks a certain level of impact. These tend to be on the more expensive side. Even so, I like how easy it is to apply. Eyebrow pencils tend to be used up more quickly than other items, so how long will they last? I'll have to wait and see about the cost-effectiveness, but it's made me want to try another color. Personally, I'd buy this when I'm on Osaji's official online store and find myself thinking, "I'm short on free shipping, what else should I buy?" lol. Personally, it's worth stocking up on this.
I usually use KATE Eyebrow Pencil Z, but I got points from an online shopping site, so I bought this, which is a little more expensive. I compared the two, as they're similar in thickness. I like how the KATE pencil is quite thin and allows me to draw clean lines at the end of my brows, but this one is slightly thinner. The KATE pencil requires a fair amount of pressure to create a crisp, dark line, but this one gives a soft, smooth finish, almost like powder. The screw brush at the back is also nice. The smudge resistance is about the same, though it's not like the Osaji pencil is more resistant to smudges. By the evening, the end of my brows did get a bit blurry, so I had to touch it up. It's nearly three times the price of the KATE, so considering the cost-effectiveness, I think I'll stick with the KATE for everyday use (ノД`). There aren't any compelling reasons to switch, but this one is easy to use and a cute, reddish brown that gives a natural finish, so I'll use it for outings. April 2023: After using it for a while, I've downgraded it by two stars. As expected, the tails of my brows disappear quickly, leaving a blurred impression. I like that when drawing the arch and beginning of my brows, it can be applied lightly like powder, making it difficult to make mistakes, so it would be perfect if it didn't stay on for a long time, which is a shame. I'll try out different products, as it may also depend on how well it works with my base makeup.
