What it is
We offer three types for different skin types. For skin with lack of moisture. A face oil that envelops the skin with a rich fragrance derived from 100% plants, balances moisture, and leaves skin looking radiant and lively. It is based on hazelnut and contains the essential oils blue orchid and patchouli.

How to use
Take a small amount, warm it to skin temperature, and apply it to moist skin that has been toned with lotion, pressing it into the entire face (excluding the area around the eyes) in a gentle motion. You can then apply your regular skincare products or a mask over it.

Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

Even a small amount is enough to moisturize and soften the skin. It's an oil, but it's not sticky, which is great. I use it at the end of my nighttime skincare routine, and I love how supple my skin is the next morning.
After using the body oil, my skin became surprisingly smooth and moisturized, so I wanted one for my face too! I bought one! The smell is a little strong, but it's incredibly moisturizing. Clarins seems to specialize in oils. Personally, I find this one better than Credo's oil serum. I'll be using it during the winter.
I love face oils and have used many different brands, but this one from Clarins is my favorite. It feels moisturizing and absorbs into the skin, leaving it feeling soft and supple. It's hard to describe, but RMK and Albion oils feel like they glide smoothly over the surface of the skin, and I prefer the feel of Clarins. It has a strong scent, so if you don't like that, I recommend trying a tester. I think each of the three types has a different scent. The price increase is a pain, but it's a product I'd like to continue purchasing.
I tried a sample and this was my first Clarins purchase. My office is incredibly dry, so I always buy a bottle of Albion oil before winter arrives, but I switched to this one. This one is thicker, but it's incredibly moisturizing, even in the most dry areas. I'm prone to breakouts when I use oil, so I was surprised to find that this didn't happen at all. The scent is strong, but I like it, and my kids and people around me have told me several times that I smell nice! Because it's a heavy oil, it's easier to apply after applying toner than after washing your face. I highly recommend it to anyone struggling with dry skin.
