I bought this product again after a long time, as I had a good impression of it after using it in the past. I think the unique scent is the smell of the ingredients, but it doesn't contain any strange fragrances or essential oils that can be irritating, so it's actually quite reassuring. The color is a fairly dark yellow, and it doesn't bother me much once I spread it. When I used it before, my skin became brighter the morning after application, and I could really feel the effects, but with my aging skin, I don't feel the same effect as before (sigh). However, it's good for dry skin, so I take a little more than 5-6 drops and lightly massage it into my face and décolleté every night. It doesn't feel sticky, but since it's an oil, those with oily skin might be better off using a thin layer of about 2 drops.
Since I liked rosehip oil, I'm using this in the hopes of anti-aging effects. The texture is similar to rosehip oil, it's not sticky and absorbs well into the skin, making it easy to use. Rosapine oil leaves my skin feeling a little plumper after use, and it has a spicy scent that I prefer. Using just three drops after applying lotion prevented dryness, even in winter. I'd like to consider buying it again, considering the cost-effectiveness compared to rosehip oil!
First of all, the scent is like stink bugs. So it smells bad for a while, and I'm afraid there might be a stink bug somewhere. There aren't many reviews about the scent, so I wonder if some products have a scent and others don't? The scent bothers me, but it makes my skin so soft and feels amazing to use! I'm not sure if I should continue using it.
I used a mini-sized sample. The scent is certainly unique, a bit like cucumber with a hint of coriander, giving it a slightly fishy smell. Rosehip oil used to cause breakouts on my skin, but this didn't cause any breakouts after three days of use. However, I did feel some swelling around my eyes, so I switched to using it on my body partway through. It's very moisturizing.
