It does brighten the skin tone quite a bit. It feels more like a base for brightening the skin tone rather than for its coverage. It's watery, so it's sticky and makes my skin look oily...it doesn't really suit my skin...so I bought it on Suzykirei shopping.

I was looking for a moisturizing primer that would give a translucent finish. Products with a strong pearly finish tend to make pores stand out, so this is just right. Products with UV absorbers often bleed into my eyes, but I'm grateful that this one doesn't bleed at all!!

I bought this because I have dark spots and freckles on my cheeks and temples, and the area under my eyes tends to look dull in the evenings... It provides a natural tone-up with just the right amount of color correction and shine. The shine effect makes the dark spots and freckles less noticeable. It also works well as a base, and doesn't come off even when I wear a mask all day on a snowy day. This primer has both moisturizing properties and coverage. I like it because it has more coverage than Clé de Peau's popular primers. If you apply Givenchy's green control primer after this primer to areas where you're concerned about redness, the finish is very beautiful. I would recommend it for those who are concerned about dryness, especially in the winter season.
