What it is
This facial cleanser is packed with six natural moisturizing ingredients derived from rice and plenty of beauty ingredients. The fine, creamy foam gently cleanses. It washes away dullness and leaves skin smooth and radiant. It contains six natural moisturizing ingredients (sake lees extract, rice extract [hydrolyzed], rice germ oil, rice bran oil, rice bran extract, yeast extract) and beauty ingredients (olive oil, angelica tree extract). No synthetic colorings are used.

Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

I found it at the hot spring where I was staying and it seemed like a good product to try, so I bought it at the shop. After using it for a few days, I feel like it's just normal, for better or worse. I haven't noticed any dramatic changes yet.
The packaging is the complete opposite of glamorous, with a nostalgic feel. The feeling after washing is temporary, but it does leave my skin feeling plump and in better condition. It's gentler on the skin than muddy facial cleansers, as it doesn't remove too much sebum, yet the foam is pleasant and I like the feel of it. It does have a slight sake lees scent. Those who don't like the smell of sake lees may find it bothersome, but the scent is quite weak, so I think it's fine for the most part. You can create a lather with your bare hands without using a net. It's safer to use a little more to prevent the lather from going flat. Using a net creates a very thick lather.
I saw this in the bath when I went to a hot spring and it felt so good to use (like a smooth peeled egg!) that I decided to buy it. The photo shows the facial cleanser and face mask.

I wasn't impressed the first time I used it, but I like the feel and use it every day. It may just be my imagination, but I feel like it does have a whitening effect.
The foaming net creates a nice lather and leaves my skin feeling moisturized after washing. The face wash contains sake lees, so it leaves my skin feeling moisturized after washing and also seems to help prevent rough skin. It improves my skin condition.
