I use 04 Cool Sand primarily to cover dark circles. I also use it on my entire face, including blemishes and under-the-nose areas. It doesn't completely hide my stubborn dark circles or dark spots, but it does lighten them overall. I have fair, cool-toned skin, and my dark circles are a mix of reddish-purple and brown (maybe black?), and I also have sagging skin and fine lines. The lighting at the counter was orange, so I couldn't really see the color even after touch-ups. I initially bought 02 Ivory, but it had a stronger yellow tint, so it didn't suit me, so I repurchased 04 Cool Sand. Cool Sand was perfect for me. It softens the skin and doesn't dry it out. The texture is watery, so it blends in well even on my very thin skin. It doesn't clog pores all day, even on my cheeks and nose, and it doesn't mess with fine lines under my eyes. It contains more dimethicone than water, so be careful if that's a concern. Perhaps because of this, it adheres very well, and even around my nose, it doesn't break down my nasolabial folds. The packaging is stylish and luxurious, typical of Bobbi.
I liked the sand so much that I also bought the porcelain. I was expecting pure white, but I'm glad that the color doesn't stand out even on my dark skin. I bought it for a highlighting effect, but it blends so well with the skin that it spreads like foundation. It's easy to use in its own way. I no longer apply foundation around my eyes. I gave it a minus one because it's expensive, but the luxurious packaging is unique to Bobbi Brown. It's beautiful down to the smallest detail. It makes me excited about my daily makeup routine.
It's very creamy, easy to apply, and doesn't dry out. The packaging is luxurious and beautiful. I think it's a product that could become more popular. Personally, the sand shade didn't cover my dark spots, so next time I'll go to a cosmetics counter to choose a shade.
This is the concealer I finally found after being a concealer refugee. I love the sand shade because it not only hides dark circles under my eyes, but also has a highlighting effect. It's highly moisturizing and adheres well to the skin. I also use the color corrector (peach) as a base for the concealer. By creating a base, it makes the sagging skin under my eyes look beautiful. Even if you apply a very thin layer of powder on top, it doesn't look like it's wrinkling (I recommend a fine powder like potato starch). The lid has a mark like the Bobbi emblem on it, and the luxurious packaging makes me feel good.
As a concealer, it wasn't enough for my stubborn dark circles, especially the shadows, but I think the product is great! I bought it because I was looking for a non-drying concealer. The dewy liquid spreads very well. The small tip makes it easy to apply precisely to the shadow lines, but because the liquid is so dewy, it's difficult to get it to settle into the shadow lines... This may be due to the compatibility with my foundation, or my own technique and tools. Also, because I purchased it online, it was darker than I expected, or rather, it wasn't lighter than the foundation I use, so it didn't highlight the shadows and didn't achieve the finish I wanted. Perhaps it would have been better if it was one or two shades lighter. Soon after, I also purchased the Skin Corrector Stick as a primer, which I'd seen reviews of. I made a mistake in choosing the color ^^; I'm fair-skinned, so I chose the lightest color, but it ended up being lighter than this concealer... I wish Bobbi had made the shade range so that if you paired the lightest shades together, the concealer would be lighter! The other Dior I have doesn't stick to my skin after the redesign, so I don't use it anymore. The Credo stick I loved when I was younger has dried out at this age. The Laura Mercier one, which was the lightest color when I bought it, is too pink for me, so after a lot of trial and error, this is the one I use most often. So, while I was just lazing around on a day off, I randomly tried applying it directly to my bare face, which hadn't undergone any skincare routine. For some reason, I also tried applying it to my cheeks and nose. Instead of patting it in, I spread it with my fingers. To my surprise, it made my pores disappear, and it was easier to apply than a cheap liquid foundation! I'd only ever used thick concealers before, so I'd never even considered applying concealer to my pores; it was an area I should avoid. But this one made my pores disappear, reduced redness (though it didn't remove blemishes), and somehow it made my skin look so beautiful. I was so impressed, I thought, "This is all I need for foundation!" Well, it's not a cost-effective replacement for a full face foundation, but I think it's great that it can be used on redness and pores on the nose and cheeks, and the texture is such that it doesn't look strange even when used in parts without foundation! Of course, if the color is right, I would also highly recommend it for dark circles!
