I found this product online and bought it without checking reviews because the packaging looked cool. It comes in a jar with a lovely brown gradient. When I opened the lid, it was a coffee spread-like color. The scent is reminiscent of cocoa and orange peel, and I like that it's not overly sweet. I wouldn't even describe the texture as smooth. It feels thick and covers the lips well. I started using it as a lip balm while I sleep. At first, it felt heavy, but as I got used to the feeling, I noticed a change in my dry lips. The results were more than enough, including: - The persistent peeling and dryness have improved significantly; - There's no longer any rough feeling when I rub my lips together; - Vertical lines are less noticeable and my lips have become firmer. While the results were more than satisfactory, I think there was a synergistic effect because I use this balm at night and another balm during the day. That said, both products are specifically designed for moisturizing, so it really brought home the importance of simply moisturizing. While the price isn't cheap, considering the effectiveness, I don't think it's too expensive, so I'll probably buy it again.
I ordered this from a gift catalog and tried it out. It's firm and spreads easily with just a little on my fingers, so it lasts a long time. When I applied it to my lips, it felt a bit grainy, probably due to the honey content. The scent wasn't too strong, and it was moisturizing, so I used it before going to bed at night. It's a bit pricey, so I'll consider buying it if my lips are dry and I can't do anything about it.
I received this product in a gift catalog this winter. It's really good. Maybe it's because I'm getting older, but since I started using Drugstore cosmetics products, my skin has started peeling and drying out quickly, but since I started using this, my skin has become soft and smooth without any peeling or dryness. I've been using it this summer as well, and it doesn't feel sticky, and the honey and citrus scent is not too strong but is gentle. I've been using it every day since around January, and I still have about a third left, so I think it's good value for money. The container doesn't look cheap, and the lid fits nicely when you close it, which is nice and satisfying. I'd like to buy more when it runs out.
My lips are very moisturized. I have a similar product, but this one is a little more moisturizing. It's a bit of a pain to apply with your fingers, but it's worth it if it moisturizes your lips. I haven't yet reached the point where I want to stop looking for a lip product, but I think it's a good product.
It's honey-based, but the scent isn't cloyingly sweet! The sweetness is subtle, and the essential oil blend creates a refreshing scent. Stronger scents can make me feel dizzy, so this is a welcome change! No matter how much I apply, I can only apply a thin layer, but it stays on until the next morning, so it doesn't dry out my lips. It's slimy, so it's not really suitable as a primer, but I use it to moisturize before bed or when I'm at home. It's generous, so I apply it so much that it overflows from my lips. The peeling has improved significantly while I'm wearing it. It's in a jar, so it's hard to remove, and even when it melts with body heat, it's still hard and difficult to remove, but this consistency isn't found in other lip balms, so I'd like to continue using it! Nuxe is known for its oil-based formula, but this is a masterpiece that's just as good. I bought it at American Pharmacy, but it seems to be available at Loft.
