What it is
For those who care about the strength of their skin. This face and body balm contains amino acids derived from fermentation. It absorbs deeply into the skin, preventing dryness and other skin problems and leaving it moisturized and healthy. Can be used on dry face, body, and hands. How to use
Can be used on dry face, body, and hands. [When using on the face] . After applying lotion, etc., apply about two pearl-sized amounts to the entire face. For makeup, apply about one rice grain's worth to dry areas, patting gently. If you apply too much or rub too hard, crumbs may appear, but this does not affect the quality. Keep out of reach of infants and young children. Not a food product. Please be careful where you store it to prevent accidental ingestion.

Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

When I purchased this, I was torn between Elixir's water cream and this one, but I ended up choosing this one because it contains fermented camellia extract, just like Ultimune. While the amount is obviously smaller, I personally prefer it. As Dr. Tomori describes my dry skin as oily, oily moisturizers leave my skin feeling slippery on the surface but dry underneath, causing roughness. Until now, my skincare routine consisted of a watery lotion, followed by a thin layer of a relatively non-greasy cream, then pressing down with tissue. Even then, I still felt oily and dry in some areas. Since purchasing this product, that feeling has disappeared, and my skin remains moisturized and smooth the next morning, which I was quite impressed with. It's smooth, even when combined with a slightly moisturizing lotion or serum, so I think I can now try lotions I've avoided because of their texture, even if the ingredients and effects are good. Also, this might be a bit unorthodox, but if you apply a thin layer of lotion or cream after applying toner and then this, it will moisturize your skin while also reducing the stickiness on the surface, so if you feel like your skin isn't moisturizing enough, why not give it a try?
