I've bought several of these. The black color is beautiful, and it gives volume and length to my eyelashes without clumping. It's not waterproof, but (for me) it stays on. There are many mascaras that dry out or smell like oil, but this one lasts for at least four months without deteriorating. If you're looking for volume, length, and glamour over natural mascara, I recommend Dior's ICONIC EXTREME...
I bought Teal Intense online to go with the green eyeshadow duo. The steep price initially made me hesitant, but after a touch-up, I was captivated by the unique color. It's an emerald-like green with a lot of black, making it easy for even beginners to use. It looks cool, but when applied, it creates a sophisticated and subtly sexy look. (Note: This may be an eyesore, and I have a baby-faced look, so it's not very sexy at all, so it's not convincing... I've included a photo of my eyes with the color applied, so please use it as a reference.) It pairs well with the same limited-edition green eyeshadow, as well as spring-like eyeshadows like pink and purple. Because it's not overpowering, it's surprisingly versatile. If it were a standard color, I'd buy it again. It's supposed to be a volume mascara, but it doesn't clump too much, making my lashes look naturally thicker and longer. Also, while volume mascara tends to make my eyes itchy in the evenings, this one doesn't. It feels lightweight. Sometimes I forget I'm wearing it and end up rubbing my eyes when I'm sleepy...lol. But it doesn't curl very well, does it? While many other people have said that it has a strong curling power, it doesn't seem to be a good match for my lashes, as applying this to my neatly curled lashes causes them to lose some of their curl. I see this as a positive, as it makes my eyes look more downcast and therefore sexier, but if it bothers you, it might be a good idea to use a base that has good hold. This spring, I'd like to add this mascara to my usual makeup routine and enjoy seasonal makeup.
I was using a purple color that I think was only available last year. Black mascara doesn't suit me (it makes my eyes look too intense and scary), so I used it not as a colored mascara, but as a substitute for basic black mascara to match cool-toned eye makeup. Although it's purple, the color isn't so striking that it stands out, so I'd recommend it for people who choose colored mascara for the reasons mentioned above. I'd say it's about average in terms of the features expected of mascara, such as volume and length. The only thing I look for in a mascara is that it doesn't contain fibers, and I don't really care about those things, so I'm not sure. However, I don't think it's a product that will help you keep your curls on its own.
I'm still excited... I just uploaded the Teal Intense shade, but today is my day off, so I decided to try it out for a quick outing. Black Plum, wow. This one's good, good, good too. I thought plum would be more red, but it's closer to purple. Was it Canmake's Antique Chocolat Rose? I like that one too and have been using it a lot lately, but this one is completely different. And, as the name suggests, Black Plum is a deep purple... It's lovely. By the way, without any special thought, I used Guerlain's Radiant Shadow Duo & Liner in 380 for eyeshadow. And Addiction's red eyeliner. Does it make me look like a street performer? Not at all. (Guerlain's Radiant Shadow Duo & Liner is my go-to makeup for days when I don't want to think about anything. It's effortless and beautiful, and it makes me look like Haruka Igawa, at least in my mind.) I can't show my face, so I won't, but it was a really good combination. Of course, TF's shades, Inchanted, Lavender Last, Settactive Rose, Orchid Haze, and Silver's Topaz, would also go well with this one. Makeup is so much fun... It's fun to see results with makeup, but with makeup, you can tell right away, right? Tom really does surprise me in so many good ways, and it's thrilling. Just the packaging gets me excited, just like Chanel, CD, and YSL, but for me, TF is hands down the best. I love that simple, dark brown packaging so much, it makes me drool. Ah, I'm so excited! Neither is as glossy as Ultra Length. But maybe it's the color, it's sexy and lovely. Even though it was expensive, I'm glad I bought it. Now I'm curious about the Eye Color Duo, but I'll hold off. I'm going out for a bit. Feeling happy...
I'll have to hold off on colored eyeshadow for a while... My goal this year is to get the most out of it. I thought I'd work hard on my foundation... not that it's anything special... So I held off on the Eye Color Duo. It's true that it can be used with or without water, so I know it's different from the Eye Color Quad. But I have almost every shade of the Quad, and I was hesitant to buy it this time. (It's similar to the blue Eye and Cheek, Emerald Last, Incanted, and Hasara Haze, isn't it?) But I couldn't resist the mascara, so I bought it... First, Teal Intense. I usually use the Ultra Length (black). This one comes in a slightly larger package than the Ultra Length (photo attached). It's a wonderful product in terms of shine and length. Compared to the Ultra Length, this one is more about volume than length. And, above all, it's the color, right?! It's a sophisticated green that's simply stunning. Of course, it goes well with Sahara Haze, but it would also look great paired with something like Golden Mink. It would also pair well with Silvers Topaz. It's a black-based green. Majolica Majorca's limited edition GR777 is similar, but Majolica Majorca's is lighter in color and more shimmery. TF is deeper in color and not as shimmery. Well, you can't really compare them. The price difference is just too much. It comes off easily with point remover. Even so, 5,000 yen mascara is expensive. Damn it, amible-papillon. Now that I've bought it, I'll use it liberally. I haven't tried Black Plum yet, so I'll write a review once I do. By the way, TF lipstick is coming out on March 20th, right? I want that too. I can't take off my mask because of pollen and dust allergies, but I'll probably buy it. Sometimes I wear a little makeup for work, but sometimes I really want to wear proper makeup.
