How to use
<How to set Kanebo Eye Color Duo, Kanebo Layered Colors Eyeshadow, and Layered Face Colors (sold separately)>. To remove Kanebo Eye Color Duo, pinch both sides of the inner tray of the refill with your fingers, and to remove Kanebo Layered Colors Eyeshadow and Kanebo Layered Face Colors, pinch the inner tray with your fingers. While aligning the inner tray with the top of the compact, press the front center of the tray with the pad of your finger until you hear a click to set it in place. To remove the inner tray from the compact, place the pad of your finger on the front center of the tray and push up to remove it.

Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

I bought this as an eyeshadow case, but as other reviewers have said, it's too thick to be portable.
I bought Kanebo's 03 Clever Rosewood and also bought a case to carry it around, but it's quite chunky and thick with sharp edges, so it's not really suitable for carrying around. I'll use it because it has space for a mirror and brush.
I had already purchased the eyeshadow refills that fit inside, and since the colors were quite useful, I recently purchased the case as well. Many people buy eyeshadows and blushes in order to try them out first (even the cases are quite pricey). This compact holds the eyeshadow refills and brush set (sold separately). Like this type of lipstick, the glossy surface is beautiful, but scratches and fingerprints are still a concern. When carrying it around, I take care to store it neatly in a pouch to prevent scratches. Also, like the lipstick, I personally find the asymmetrical design on the edges a bit bothersome. But that's just my opinion. I'm sure some people find it cool.
I like the cute design of the case
It has a luxurious feel, but it gets dirty easily with fingerprints. I'll keep it clean and use it carefully.
