What it is
●This medicated whitening lotion, like a serum, focuses on moisture and whitening. ●It penetrates deep into the stratum corneum of UV-damaged skin, targeting melanocytes, the source of dark spots, for a moisturized, whiter complexion. ●It has the same weak acidity as healthy skin. ●It is gentle on the skin and is fragrance-free, colorant-free, mineral oil-free, alcohol (ethanol)-free, and paraben-free. Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

I've been using the Shirojun lotion, but I thought it might be nice to try the emulsion once in a while. Is it less moisturizing than the Gokujun Aging Care emulsion? It's smooth to apply.
I bought this at the same time as I bought this lotion. I expect a lotion to be not too sticky, provide just the right amount of moisture, and not leave any flakes, which aren't things I care about that much. This fits those criteria perfectly! It's reasonably priced, and I spread it evenly from my face to my neck. It's non-irritating, so I think it's a very easy-to-use lotion. I still have a lot left, so I'll consider repurchasing it after I finish using it up. I think it's a great product!
My family was using it, so I gave it a try, and it was surprisingly good, so I continued using it for a while. The moisture penetrates deeply, and even when applied generously, it leaves skin feeling soft, moisturized, and fresh, just one step away from being sticky. In my case, I felt like my skin became clearer. It's affordable, so I can use it generously on my neck and hands, which is a plus. I might try other products, but the ingredients are good and it's easy to use, so I want to keep this one on hand.
I use it at the end of my skincare routine, and as it's called a penetrating whitening emulsion, it really does feel like it penetrates deeply. It leaves my skin moisturized and soft. If I apply too much, it can get sticky, so I like to apply an appropriate amount between my palms and pat it into my skin.

Incidentally, this product is also available in refills, and I think its environmental friendliness is also commendable. The texture is a light, milky-white emulsion that blends smoothly into the skin without feeling sticky. With continued use, my skin has become brighter, and I feel like my blemishes and freckles have become smaller.
