Place the cotton pad horizontally between your middle and ring fingers, and hold it firmly between your index and little fingers (the fibers of this cotton pad run horizontally, so if you hold it vertically, the fibers will rub against your skin, causing it to pill and lose its shape). When blending cosmetics into your skin, the key is to gently glide the cotton pad from the center of your face outwards.
