I bought this to use as a powder foundation. It applies nicely with just a small amount, much better than applying with a sponge. I also found it easy to apply to the wings of my nose and eyelids, and it also made pores less noticeable.
I bought this along with my face powder. The bristles are soft and feel great on the skin. It's easy to use and doesn't apply too thickly. The size is convenient for carrying around.
The Kabuki brush is more popular, but I've purchased both, so I'll give my review. This one is denser, so it applies foundation better. I use it for powder foundation. It's not too big or too small, and it really blurs pores around the nose. The Kabuki brush applies powder more lightly, so I use it for finishing powder.
I purchased the foundation and kit during the Umehan pre-release. This is my first time buying a liquid foundation brush, but I've used it before as a bonus or for touch-ups. - The brush picks up foundation. - It's itchy and causes friction. - It leaves streaks. - It's difficult to maintain. - It applies and spreads foundation evenly! - It feels great on the skin! - It doesn't leave streaks, so no finishing sponge is needed! - It doesn't hold the foundation, so it's easy to maintain! So, it's great. I think the hold-up of foundation depends on the foundation's texture, but it naturally pairs very well with Reboot, which was released at the same time. Since the color doesn't match, I can mix it with other, slightly thicker foundations (like Les Enciels) without any problems. It fits perfectly in the hand, and its rounded cut with varying heights allows it to both feel good on the skin and be easily applied to fine details. After use, I swirl it around with a cotton pad soaked in cleansing water. I can't yet judge its durability, so I may lower my rating depending on the situation, but so far I have no complaints. It's not cheap, but I would recommend it to anyone who has wondered whether a foundation brush is necessary.
